About the Role

We are looking for a caring, organised and highly reliable School Transport Coordinator to support students with a disability during their daily travel to and from school. This is a meaningful role where your work directly contributes to student safety, wellbeing and positive educational outcomes.
You will play a key role in coordinating transport services, maintaining accurate records, and working closely with schools, families, drivers and government stakeholders to ensure safe, reliable and compliant transport operations. As part of your role you will;

  • Coordinate daily transport runs for students with a disability, ensuring safe and timely travel to and from school
  • Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders including government departments, schools, parents/caregivers, and drivers
  • Provide administrative and contract support, including:
    • Maintaining accurate records
    • Preparing reports and audit documentation
    • Ensuring compliance with contract requirements
  • Support service growth initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Act as a calm, organised point of contact for transport-related queries
Key Success Measures
  • Accurate and up-to-date records maintained at all times
  • Periodic reporting completed accurately and on schedule
  • Strong adherence to contract, safety and compliance requirements
About You;
Essential Requirements
  • Current Working With Children Check
  • Current Police Check
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a transport coordination, administration or similar role
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
  • A calm approach when working in time‑sensitive or high‑responsibility situations
