Cabsure Insurance | 13cabs / A2B Group
We’re seeking an experienced Insurance Manager and Responsible Manager to lead Cabsure Insurance, overseeing sales, compliance and operations across CTP and general insurance products.
This is a senior, hands‑on role where you’ll combine leadership, commercial focus and regulatory responsibility in a well‑established, growing business.
About the role Reporting to senior leadership, you will lead the Cabsure Insurance team and be accountable for sales performance, AFSL compliance and continuous improvement across insurance operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the Insurance team to deliver sales across CTP and general insurance
- Act as the Responsible Manager under ASIC RG 105
- Ensure compliance with AFSL regulatory obligations
- Drive business growth and achieve financial targets
- Review commercial performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Standardise and automate insurance systems, processes and tools
- Support development of new insurance products and services
- Manage stakeholder relationships across the business
- Handle insurance‑related complaints and client matters
- Work closely with Marketing to drive client engagement and growth
- Achievement of Cabsure growth targets through new sales and efficient administration
- A consistent, compliant approach to insurance sales and management
- A capable, engaged team supported through effective recruitment, training and performance management
- Ongoing improvements in systems, processes and team capability
- Strong safety, health and environmental practices aligned with 13cabs/A2B requirements
- Meet Responsible Manager requirements under ASIC RG 105
- At least 3 of the last 5 years’ experience (or 5 of the last 8) providing financial services under an AFSL
- 3+ years’ experience managing an insurance broking or insurance operation
- Tier 1 Qualification in Financial Services
- Tertiary qualification in Financial Services, Business or Commerce
- Strong history of ongoing professional development
- Experience in motor vehicle or taxi insurance
