A2B Australia is on the move – and we’re looking for a hands-on Workshop Manager to join our Swan Taxis/13cabs team in Maylands, Perth. If you’re an experienced with natural leadership instincts and a drive for operational excellence, this is your chance to step into a permanent role with purpose.
About the Role As Workshop Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy Perth workshop, managing a team of 6 and leading all aspects of panel beating, insurance liaison, parts management, safety compliance, workflow optimisation, and team coordination.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage workshop operations from estimating to final repairs
- Lead, coach, and schedule your team to meet productivity and quality targets
- Liaise with insurers, parts suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with WHS and maintain a safe, efficient working environment
- Support customer interactions – both private and corporate
- Work with tools such as iBodyshop and internal systems to drive efficiencies
- 5+ years in a workshop environment, with a panel beating background
- Demonstrated leadership experience and team supervision
- Strong understanding of insurance processes and parts supply
- Great with communication – both verbal and written
- Proficient in workflow and productivity management tools
- Organised, energetic, and solutions-focused
