OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The role of Quality Assurance (QA) Tester is responsible for ensuring that software products meet the required standards of quality before they are released to our customers. The primary duties involve planning, executing, and overseeing various types of tests to identify any bugs, defects, or issues that need to be resolved.

YOUR PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE – but not limited to

• Define testing requirements
• Prepare test environments and test cases
• Document and facilitate communication and troubleshooting of issues, bugs, changes
• Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated)
• Participate in all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met

Experience
Essential:

  • 2+ Years of experience testing payment or embedded or similar systems.
  • Familiarity with certification test tools such as simulators, data loggers, serial line monitors and TCP/IP sniffers
  • Experience with automated testing tools, i.e. FINsim, soapUI, loadUI
  • Experience with test management software such as Jira, HP Quality Center
  • Computer networking - TCP/IP
  • Windows operating system
  • Qualifications - Computer Science Degree, other Tertiary IT certification
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desired:
  • Ability to read, analyse, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulation documents.
  • Ability to complete reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Education/Qualifications Required
  • Relevant diploma and/or IT Qualification attained from a recognised training provider or equivalent industry experience.
  • Taxi Industry experience is preferred, but not essential, as industry training will be provided.
