As a System Administrator/DevOps, you'll collaborate closely with Software Engineering, Technical Support, and Network Operations teams to ensure seamless operations and drive meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
As a System Administrator/DevOps, you'll be entrusted with a range of responsibilities that include:
- Administering application hosts and managing tools, databases, web services, libraries, and more.
- Designing and architecting infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements, creating a secure, scalable, and highly available hybrid payment service environment.
- Configuring network devices, including routers, switches, and CISCO ASA.
- Collaborating with Development and Operations Engineers to provide infrastructure recommendations aligned with application needs.
- Overseeing backup and restoration procedures, disaster recovery testing, and implementing infrastructure automation.
- Coordinating with hardware and software vendors, evaluating and recommending new technologies.
- Taking an active role in maintaining and optimizing the service environment, performing proactive analysis and troubleshooting.
- Participating in 24/7 support, diagnosing and resolving infrastructure issues, and ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Playing a vital part in daily technical operations meetings and maintaining up-to-date documentation.
- At least 5 years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining system hardware and operating environments.
- In-depth knowledge of network configuration, routing, firewall, IPSec, BGP, VLAN, DMZ, etc.
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux OS, VMWare VSphere/VCentre, and Cloud (Azure).
- Strong understanding of system internals, including scheduling, memory management, and TCP/IP stack.
- Expertise in AD, LDAP, DNS, NFS, IAAS, and experience with backup and recovery policies.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and SQLServer.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Knowledge of PCI compliance, Security Configuration Management, and Vulnerability tools.
- Experience with SAN management and configuration, AIX OS, and Agile methodology.
